RISK OF HEPATITIS
 

Hepatitus is one of the most contagious diseases. The people with multiple sex partners, working in the healthcare professions, intravenous drug users and hemophiliacs are at more risk of occurring hepatitis disorders. The ailment is at least ten times more common to people from the lower socioeconomic conditions and poorly educated segments. Nearly one third of the cases belong to the unidentified sources.

Hepatitus A Treatment: Actually there is no specific treatment for this disorder, but supportive therapies may help ease the conditions. Detecting the preliminary source and averting its further progression are advisable. However, bed rest is the best treatment and patient should completely avoid working during the illness phase. Periodic blood check up is equally necessary.

Hepatitis B Treatment: Even for acute Hepatitus B there is no specific treatment other than supportive care. In scarce instances an episode of acute hepatitis may be abnormally severe and may need hospitalization. Adherence may lead to liver failure in remote cases.

Interferon Alfa – Intron A: This medication may cause or activate fatal neuro-psychiatric, autoimmune, ischemic and contagious conditions.

Limousine – EPIVIR: The medication has the abnormal fatal reaction with acid in the blood and a fatty, enlarged liver called lactic acidosis with hepatomegaly and steatosis. Epivir may cause none marrow toxicity that may lead to low blood cell counts.

Adefovir – HEPSERA: This is the prescription drug used for treating the chronic infection with Hepatitus B virus-HBV in adults. It neither cures hepatitis B nor diminishes the risk of spreading of the ailment to others.

Entecavir – BARACLUDE: Because this drug is initially removed by the kidneys, co-administration of BARACLUDE with drugs that minimize renal function may enhance serum concentrations of Entecavir.

Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2a – PEGASYS: The drug may cause serous behavioral disorders and problems with heart, lungs and eyes.

Hepatitus C Treatment: It is the initial treatment for removing viruses from the body, depending on the typical condition of the disorder in the body.

Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2b – PEG INTRON: This can cause or deteriorate medical conditions like psychiatric conditions, immune system problems, blood circulation problems and infections.

Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2a – PEGASYS: The drug may cause serous behavioral disorders and problems with heart, lungs and eyes.

Consensus Interferon – INFERGEN: This is contraindicated in patients having hypersensitivity to alpha Interferon or its ingredients in patients with de-compensated hepatic ailment and autoimmune hepatitis. Serious side effects have been reported of this drug.
